How does it works

Each tamper-evident NFC tag securely links a physical artwork to its unique digital identity, creating a permanent, blockchain-backed record of authenticity, provenance, and ownership. Once activated and attached to an artwork, the tag cannot be removed without being irreversibly damaged, preventing transfer to counterfeit pieces.

Unlike standard NFC stickers, AELIG’s patent-pending technology uses a secure cryptographic protocol based on a private key to generate one-time authentication codes (OTP). This enables reliable anti-counterfeiting verification while ensuring that every authentication is genuine and impossible to clone.
